Overview
Review and approve or reject a ticket with a pending approval request and optionally add a comment. Read more in Request Approval for a Ticket.
The reviewers of the active approval step are notified automatically via email and need to approve or reject the request within their due date. Reviewers get due date reminders and if an approval is overdue, all involved users get notified.

Access & Permissions
Only Pro and Enterprise accounts created after February 2022 are eligible for approvals.
If you have an older Pro or Enterprise account contact us to upgrade your account.
Anyone can review and approve a ticket, even subcontractors. Except watchers, as always, can only view and not make changes. There are no specific permissions required. The users just need to be added as reviewers when requesting approval. Read more in Permissions.
How to access Pending your Approval
There are multiple ways to access approvals. Read more in View & Manage Approvals.
To review a ticket that is pending your approval, the easiest way starts here:
- Click Approvals
- Click Pending Your Approval
- Optional: Select a project or All projects in the Project drop-down
Review & Approve or Reject a Ticket
To review and approve or reject a ticket approval request:
- Open the Approval request details
- Open the ticket under Items to review
- Review all the ticket details and attachments
- Click Approve or Reject
- Optional: Enter a comment
- Click Approve or Reject for final confirmation
