Overview
Use the plan annotation feature to highlight something on the plan and attach a picture of it to the ticket.
Access & Permissions
You need an in-house user with a role permission to create or edit tickets and the user permission 'Tickets & Project Reports'. Read more in Permissions.
Subcontractors see only assigned tickets and always have permission to add plan annotations to them. Read more in User Types.
Add Plan Annotations
Continue here after you Create a Ticket or View & Edit a Ticket.
To add a plan annotation:
- Scroll down to Plan position and tap the plan preview.
- Tap the camera icon.
- Use panning and zooming to define the relevant section of the plan.
- Tap ✔ to confirm the area for the screenshot.
- Add your annotations as described in Photo Editor.
- Attach the plan annotation picture to the ticket and close the photo editor.
- The picture with your annotations get attached to the ticket.
- Scroll down to Form fields and tap the plan preview
- Tap + to open the sub menu.
- Tap Add plan annotation
- Use panning and zooming to define the relevant section of the plan.
- Tap OK to confirm the area for the screenshot.
- Add your annotations as described in Photo Editor.
- Attach the plan annotation picture to the ticket and close the photo editor.
- The picture with your annotations is attached to the ticket.
Similar to all attachments in PlanRadar, plan annotations cannot be edited after attached to a ticket to prevent manipulation of documentation.
