Overview
PlanRadar supports custom password policies that will be enforced for all users that exist in the account where it is active. This also includes users that are licensed in other accounts and are added to the account where the policy is active.
Access & Permissions
Only account owners can request custom password policy activation.
Custom password policy is only available for the Enterprise Plan.
Custom Password Policy
The custom password policy refers to setting requirements for passwords used by users in the account. These could include:
- Upper case
- Lower case
- Special characters
- Numbers
- Minimum password length
- Password expiration interval
- New passwords must be different from user's previous passwords (define how many previous passwords)
- Number of failed login attempts before user account becomes locked
Activate Custom Password Policy
In order to activate the custom password policy, the account owner should:
- Define what to include in the policy for all users on the account.
- Send an email to support@planradar.com with your requirements and request to enable a custom password policy.
- Our support team will send you a confirmation after activation.
