Overview
When you Create a Ticket Report the PDF is generated by a PlanRadar server. As soon as it is ready you get notified and can download the PDF to share it with stakeholders outside of PlanRadar.
If you are using the PlanRadar mobile app you need to be online for generating ticket reports.
Generated ticket reports can be attached to tickets.
Access & Permissions
Only the user who created the ticket report can access the generated PDF file to download it.
To generate ticket reports you need an in-house user with a role permission to edit or view the tickets included in the report and the user permission 'Tickets & Project Reports'. Read more in Permissions.
Subcontractors can only see assigned tickets and therefore can only create reports for those tickets. Read more in User Types.
View Generated Ticket Reports
When the generated PDF ticket report is ready for download you get this notification message:
- Click Download File to save the PDF in your browser's download folder
The message will is also be accessible in the Message Center:
- Click Message Center
- Click Downloads
- Click Download File
The message and the possibility to download the file will only be available for 24 hours and will be automatically deleted.
Ticket reports that are generated from within the mobile app are generated but not stored on the PlanRadar servers. They are available in the mobile app on the device where they have been generated.
To view generated ticket reports:
- Tap Ticket reports in the main menu.
See the indicator when there are new generated ticket reports. - Tap on the ticket report to open it
