Overview
In some rare cases it might happen that you need to migrate data from two PlanRadar accounts or copy data from one account to another one.
For instance, if you are working with two different accounts or if you purchased an entire new account and would like to migrate your old data over to the new account.
Requesting Migrations
Since PlanRadar accounts are completely isolated, it is not possible to migrate or copy data between accounts on your own. However, you can request a migration/copy operation performed by our team:
- Contact your sales representative
- The account owner will be asked to provide a written consent stating exactly which data you would like to copy (project names, form names, template names, etc.) and between which accounts.
- The Sales Team will calculate costs involved and inform you.
- Once the payment is cleared, our team will start the migration/copy operation.
Depending on the amount of data, it could take up to two hours to copy your data.
During the copy operation, no one is allowed to work on the project, since this could potentially disrupt the process and changes made to the project or tickets might not be copied over to the target account.
Once a project is copied, it will exist within both accounts. Make sure to verify and rename, delete or archive any data you do not need anymore. Ensure to communicate to your users in which project they shall continue their work.
