Lock a ticket to prevent users from editing it.
Tickets are locked automatically when you:
The Locking form option must be enabled to allow users to lock tickets using that form. Forms used for locked tickets are also locked automatically. Read more in Form Options.
Access & Permissions
Only Pro and Enterprise accounts created after February 2022 are eligible to sign and lock tickets.
If you have an older Pro or Enterprise account contact us to upgrade your account.
To lock a ticket, you need an in-house user with a role permission to edit tickets and the user permission 'Tickets & Project Reports'.
To unlock a ticket, you need an in-house user with the user permission 'Account'.

Locked Tickets
When you View & Edit a Ticket, you can lock or unlock it.
The only way to edit a locked ticket is to unlock it, which automatically removes all signatures. You can then make the required changes, lock the ticket again, and sign it.
For locked tickets, you can still edit the assignee, receiver, progress, status and add comments. This allows you to assign the next signer or communicate when multiple signatures are required.

You can add markups to PDFs attached to tickets during the review process.

A journal entry is added whenever a ticket is locked or unlocked.
Lock a Ticket
To lock a ticket:
- Open the More menu
- Click Lock ticket
Unlock a Ticket
To unlock a ticket:
- Open the More menu
- Click Unlock ticket
- Click Unlock ticket to confirm that all signatures will be deleted.
