Overview
Use Copy & paste to save time when creating similar tickets.
Access & Permissions
To create tickets you need an in-house user with a role permission 'create tickets' and the user permission 'Tickets & Project Reports'. Read more in Permissions.
Copy a Ticket
When copying a ticket all form fields are included (e.g. title, assignee, due date).
Attachments, comments, plan position, GPS position and sub-tickets are NOT included.
To copy a ticket:
- Click Tickets
- Select Plan in the View drop-down.
- Click on the ticket pin to open the ticket preview.
- Click Copy
Note the confirmation message: 'Ticket has been copied to the clipboard.'
In the Webapp copy/paste is only available in the plan view.
- Tap on a ticket to open it
- Tap More
- Tap Copy to clipboard
- Tap Back
On iOS copy/paste is available on list view and plan view.
- Tap on a ticket to open it
- Tap More
- Tap Copy ticket
- Tap Back
On Android copy/paste is available on list view and plan view.
Paste a Ticket
You can paste a ticket if there is something saved in the clipboard:
- Right click on the plan to place a ticket pin.
- Click ✔ to confirm the plan position of the new ticket and open the 'Create new ticket' window.
- Optional: Click the blue button to empty the clipboard.
You can paste a ticket multiple times until you empty the clipboard or leave the ticket plan view.
- Tap + to create a new ticket
- Place the ticket pin on the plan
- Tap ✔ to confirm
- Tap Paste from clipboard
You can paste a ticket multiple times until you empty the clipboard by changing the project, closing the app or locking your phone.
- Tap +
- Place the ticket pin on the plan
- Tap ✔ to confirm
- Tap Paste from clipboard
You can paste a ticket multiple times.
