Overview
With the AI Assistant, you can:
- Get answers to your questions about using PlanRadar, based on HelpCenter content — including links to related articles with full instructions and screenshots.
- Ask questions about document content and generate summaries of PDFs and Office documents. Read more in Get Document Insights with AI Assistant.
- Find tickets by describing what you’re looking for, and gain insights from ticket content. Read more in Search for Tickets with AI Assistant.
- Create and apply ticket filters using AI’s suggestions or your own criteria, then save them for later. Read more in Create Ticket Filters with AI Assistant.

Access & permissions
All users can ask questions about Help Center content.
Only Pro and Enterprise accounts created after February 2022 are eligible to use AI Assistant features that help you get things done in PlanRadar (such as ticket search or document insights). If you have an older Pro or Enterprise account, contact us to upgrade your account.
The advanced AI Assistant features (all except HelpCenter content) are available to all in-house users, but not to subcontractors and watchers.
Privacy & Security
Our AI integrations adhere to the same high standards of privacy and security as the entire PlanRadar application. See also General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Security and ISO Certification.
Our models run on Amazon Bedrock, a secure, compliant platform within AWS infrastructure. Your data remains private — it's encrypted, stays within the selected AWS Region, and is never used to train any base models. Neither AWS nor third-party model providers have access to your inputs or outputs.

How to access the AI Assistant
The AI Assistant is available in the Webapp.
- Hover over the AI icon
- Click AI Assistant
Use the AI Assistant
To use the AI Assistant:
- Click one of the suggestions
- OR enter your question or request
- Click the send icon or press Enter
Move the Chat Window
- Click and hold the six dots on the top of the chatbot window
- Move it to the left or right and drop it
Close the Chat Window
Closing the chat window will not delete its content.
To close the chat window:
- Click X
New Chat
To start a new chat session and delete the previous conversation:
- Click the New chat icon
Chat History
You can view the chat history of your conversations with the AI Assistant, as well as search, open, rename, or delete them. The history displays your most recent 100 chats — older ones are automatically removed from the list.
To view all previous chats in the current project and view a chat:
- Click the Chat history icon
- Click on a chat
To search for a chat by title or first message:
- Enter your search term
- The chat list only shows matching chats
To rename a chat:
- Hover over a chat and open the More menu
- Click Rename
- Enter a new chat title
- Click ✔
To delete a chat:
- Hover over a chat and open the More menu
- Click Delete
