Overview
Microsoft Project schedules can be imported and exported. Importing from Asta Powerproject and Primavera P6 is also supported.

Access & permissions
Schedules is available to Pro and Enterprise accounts. Read more in Pricing and Subscription.
To create or edit schedules (modifications are only available in the Webapp) you need an in-house user with a role permission to manage schedules.
Subcontractors don't have access to schedules. Read more in User Types and Permissions.
How to access Schedule

Import a Schedule
Instead of creating phases manually as describe in Create, Edit or Delete a Phase, you can start setting up your schedule in PlanRadar by importing a file from Microsoft Project (.mpp), Asta Powerproject (.pp) or Primavera P6 (.xer).
When importing schedules the duration of phases are kept as-is and start and end dates are recalculated based on the schedule start date, dependencies, and according to the working days configuration.
Updating an existing schedules with a newer file version is currently not supported. The imported phases will be added to your schedule below the existing phases.
Milestones are currently not supported and imported as 1-day phases in order to preserve any dependencies that require a duration in PlanRadar. Advanced constraints such as "Start No Earlier Than" are currently not supported.
To import a schedule file, use drag & drop or your file browser:
Drag & Drop:
- Open the more menu
- Click Import schedule
- Drag & drop the file from your desktop to the Drop file here area
- Click Upload
File browser:
- Open the more menu
- Click Import schedule
- Click My Computer and Select the file in the file browser
- Click Upload
Export to Microsoft Project
To export your PlanRadar schedule in a Microsoft Project format:
- Open the more menu
- Click Export schedule for MS Project (.xml)
The downloaded file is named '[Project name]_Schedule.xml".
