Overview
Verify whether the assignee of your ticket has already viewed it.
Access & Permissions
Only the creator of the ticket can see its read receipt. You need an in-house user with a role permission to create tickets and the user permission 'Tickets & Project Reports'. Read more in Permissions.
Check Read Receipts
To view read receipts:
- Open the ticket
- See the eye symbol next to the assignee field
- Open the ticket
- See the eye symbol next to the assignee field
- Open the ticket
- See the eye symbol next to the assignee field
If the eye is crossed out, it means the assignee hasn't opened the ticket yet or has disabled the read receipt settings.
If the eye is not crossed, it means the assignee has opened the ticket.
Read receipts are also logged into the ticket journal. Read more in Track Activity on a Ticket in the Journal.
Enable/Disable Read Receipts
For privacy reasons, users can enable/disable the read receipts of the tickets assigned to them. To do so:
- Click Settings
- Click Profile
- Select/Clear the Read Confirmation checkbox
- Go to the main menu
- Tap Settings
- Activate the Read receipts toggle
- Tap Done
- Go to the main menu
- Tap Settings
- Activate the Ticket read receipts toggle
