Overview
Download any plan as a PDF to store it on your device or share it outside of PlanRadar. You can optionally include ticket pins and define their size and caption (ticket ID or title) as well as plan metadata (plan version and when it got uploaded).
Access & Permissions
To download plans you need an in-house user with a role permission to edit or view tickets and the user permission 'Tickets & Project Reports'. Read more in Permissions.
Subcontractors cannot download plans. Read more in User Types.
How to access Tickets Plan View
Before you can download a plan you need to navigate to the Tickets Plan View and select the desired project and layer as described in View Tickets of a Project, Layer or Form.
To access the tickets plan view:
- Click Tickets
- Select Plan in the View drop-down
Download Plan
You can download plans with or without ticket pins. There are options to define the size of pins, the caption and to include metadata at the top of the plan about when it got uploaded to PlanRadar and the version number of the plan. All these options are enabled by default.
- Click Download plan to show the download options.
- Clear/select the Include ticket pins checkbox
- Select pin display size: small, medium or large
- Select pin caption: Ticket ID or Ticket title
- Clear/select the Include metadata checkbox
- Click Download
- The PDF gets generated in the background and you receive a notification when it is ready to Download File.
The message will is also be accessible in the Message Center:
- Click Message Center
- Click Downloads
- Click Download File
The message and the possibility to download the file will only be available for 24 hours and will be automatically deleted.
The same download plan options are also available when including plans in advanced ticket report templates.
