Analyse Tickets with AI Assistant
Overview
Ask the AI Assistant for numbers about your project's tickets: how many are open, who has the most overdue tickets, or what changed since yesterday. The assistant counts your tickets directly, so the answers are exact and you don't need to enable AI ticket search first.
Access & permissions
Analyse Your Tickets
- Open the AI Assistant
- Check that the right project is shown above the chat input field
- Enter your question, for example "How many tickets are overdue per assignee?"
- Click the send icon or press Enter
What You Can Ask
| What you want | Example question |
|---|---|
| Count tickets | "How many open tickets are there?" |
| Break down by a field | "How many tickets are overdue per assignee?" / "Open tickets per status and priority" |
| Break down by a form field | "How many open tickets are there per trade?" |
| Totals and averages of number fields | "What is the average of Labour hours on closed tickets?" |
| Rankings | "Which form has the most open tickets?" |
| Trends over time | "How many tickets were created per month this year?" |
| Durations | "How many days does it take on average to close a ticket?" |
| Missing information | "Which open tickets have no photo?" / "Tickets with no change for 30 days" |
| Approvals | "How many tickets are waiting for my approval?" |
| Recent changes | "What changed since yesterday?" / "What changed on my tickets this week?" |
| Tickets about a topic | "How many tickets mention water damage?" (needs AI ticket search) |
If a field name in your question is unclear, the assistant asks which field you mean before it counts.
Charts and Follow-up Questions (Webapp only)
- When an answer compares three or more groups or periods, the assistant shows it as a chart. You can also ask for one, for example "Show this as a pie chart".
- Below an answer, the assistant can suggest up to three follow-up questions. Click one to ask it.
In the mobile app, you get the same answers as text.
Keep in Mind
- The assistant only counts tickets you are allowed to see.
- It answers for one project at a time: the project shown above the chat input field.
- Lists show up to 20 tickets. Breakdowns show the 10 largest groups and say how many are left out. Ask for more to see up to 50.
- For number fields, the answer says how many tickets have the field filled in.
- In projects with more than 20,000 tickets, breakdowns and totals by form fields are not available. Standard fields such as status, assignee or due date still work.
